CARE-apy: Methods and Tools for Collecting Data in the Online Environment
With the recent pandemic limiting our ability to facilitate learning experiences in person at our sites or in the community, more of us are providing new programming and content for our audiences via online platforms. Join a facilitated discussion with museum evaluators and professionals from the Denver Zoo, Exploratorium, Missouri Historical Society, and Space Center Houston about ways we can collect data about our online programming. We will explore utilizing surveys, observations, and online analytical tools as methods to use to evaluate online programming. We will discuss the benefits, challenges, failures, and lessons learned from experimenting with a variety of ways to measure the outputs, participant experience, and learning outcomes of both live and produced online programming.
